Senior Portraits

It is my honor to photograph your senior! This is such an exciting time for your senior and for you! Senior portrait sessions are held at an outdoor location and sunrise or sunset is the best time for these photos.

Before your session I will ask you to fill out a questionnaire to help me learn more about your senior and how I can tailor your session to create images you will love! Every session includes a phone consultation to go over all the details and a Session Guide with lots of tips for how to prepare for your session!

Booking

Reach out to get on my calendar! We’ll agree on a date and you can start thinking about what everyone is going to wear! Once I have your initial payment and portrait agreement you are booked!

Plan Your Session

Once you’re on my calendar and have sent in your senior questionnaire I’ll send you a session guide with tips on what to expect, what to wear, and secrets for a smooth session! I will follow up with a pre-session phone consultation to go over all the details!

The Fun Part!

I’ll meet you at our location where I’ll help guide you into natural poses. You’ll feel like a model!

Prints & Products

This milestone deserves to be celebrated! I offer high quality prints, albums and other products from my professional photo lab so you can enjoy your photos every day in your home.

Frequently Asked Questions

 
 

  • Yes! Senior sessions include a set number of edited, high-resolution digital files of your choice for download. You will make your choices after you have a chance to look through your whole gallery. There is also the option to purchase additional individual files or the entire gallery of images. You will receive a print release with your session.

  • Senior sessions are held at an outdoor location in the St. Louis area. I like to schedule outdoor sessions about 1.5-2 hours before sunset.

  • For a 2 hour senior portrait session I recommend 3-4 outfits. i encourage timeless styles that will look amazing for many years to come. Accessories are a great way to tie everything together. I’ll send you a style guide with more info after booking!

  • Images from your session are typically available within 2-3 weeks of your session.

  • I’m glad you asked! I offer heirloom quality print products through my professional photo lab. I encourage everyone to order at least a few prints to see the difference between professional printers and consumer photo labs! Prints, canvases, wall displays and other products can be ordered directly from your online gallery. If you need a product or size that you don’t see, let me know! I handle everything and deliver your final products to you!

  • Mini sessions are offered seasonally on limited dates. Email subscribers get first chance to book when mini sessions open, as well as the first look at new ‘Now Booking’ dates. Sign up so you don’t miss out and grab a spot before they sell out!

  • Sessions may be rescheduled due to weather at the discretion of the photographer. The initial payment will be transferred to a future date.

  • When you’re ready, click here to fill our the contact form or email me at hello@sarahrowlandphotography.com. I’ll send a questionnaire, followed by a contract and an invoice for your session. A signed contract and an initial payment is required to hold your date. The initial payment is non-refundable and will be applied towards your session fee. When everything is returned to me, you are officially on my calendar!
