The R Family
What a beautiful day for a family session in Lafayette Park! I couldn’t have been happier with how this session turned out!
The R family brought their A game to this session. From their easy-going attitudes to their perfectly coordinated outfits, they were ready for their close-ups. This is a family that clearly loves each other and knows how to have fun! This young lady is an amazing big sister and her little brother is so lucky to have her. Little man kept losing his shoe, trying to eat the leaves, and by the end of the session he was threatening to crawl away. But we stuck with it and got some great shots!
I love meeting clients at Lafayette Park. It is quite often abuzz with photographers, but it’s big enough that you can spread out and take turns at all the hot spots. There are so many fantastic features in this park to use as backdrops for your photographs. There is never a shortage of spots to grab some great shots, even if it sometimes seems that everyone in town is having their family photos taken at the same time. It’s really one of my fave locations!
I don’t know how we lucked out with this weather, but it was gorgeous! Warm. Sunny. Fabulous fall colors everywhere you looked. Everyone in the park was happy. As I recall, the next day we had a massive temperature swing and woke up needing our ice scrapers and snow shovels. Ah, fall in St. Louis. Luckily that winter blast didn’t last and I still have a few more warm fall sessions to share with you. Stay tuned.
