The L Family
This is just one of the sweetest families in my orbit! The kids are adorable, they’re sweet, they’re playful, and they aren’t afraid to show their own personalities!
This session took a couple of attempts to get right, but I’m so glad they stayed with me! We originally planned to meet over the summer. Unfortunately, I badly injured my calf muscle in a totally random accident while shooting at a children’s photography workshop a week before our session. I could barely walk, so there was absolutely no way I was chasing preschoolers around a park!
We decided on a short in-home ‘studio’ session to photograph the baby before she got any bigger or (yikes!) started walking! But I still owed them a family session! We tried again twice in the fall and finally got a gorgeous day for their photos! We met near the Grand Basin in Forest Park. The boys really had fun climbing on logs and everyone had a great time exploring the area. The boys and I even ran ahead to check out the pond while Mom and Dad were busy with Baby Sis. We had a fantastic time throwing rocks and plotting some surprise sweet brotherly love pics for Mom when she wasn’t looking. We agreed she would love them when she saw them in their final gallery!
